Falun
Gong followers taken out of Tiananmen Square
Some
stubborn Falun Gong cult followers, who illegally disturbed
the public order at Tiananmen Square Sunday morning, were
taken away by the local police.
The
cult followers, instigated by Li Hongzhi and other Falun
Gong activists outside China, aimed to dampen the harmonious
atmosphere of the National Day celebrations there, the police
source said.
To
ensure order on the Square, the local police sprung into
action and took these trouble-makers out of the Square.
The Square soon resumed its normal order and tourists continued
to enjoy themselves there.
