Over 80 Taiwan compatriots in Beijing attended a symposium Thursday to denounce the "anti-humanity, anti-science and anti-society" nature of the evil Falun Gong cult.

The Falun Gong cult has already become a political instrument of anti-China forces overseas, participants said.

The cult has tried hard to disturb social stability in collusion with overseas hostile forces.

The seminar urged compatriots across the Straits to join efforts in fighting the cult so as to ensure social stability and healthy progress of relations across the Straits.

Lin Liyun, vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Yang Guoqing, president of the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots attended the meeting.
