Thirty-five foreign nationals demonstrated banners carrying the slogan of the notorious cult "Falun Gong" in the Tian'anmen Square area at about 14:00 Tuesday afternoon.

Local police took them away from the site as their behavior violated relevant Chinese laws governing parades and demonstrations and cults.

The incident is still under further investigation, according to local police sources.
