Wang Bo, the former head of a Falun Gong's coaching station in Mouping District of Yantai, a city of Shandong Province, has rid herself of the trap of the Falun Gong cult following one year of education and help by others.

Wang, 40, who graduated from Laiyang Agricultural College, used to serve as a worker of the Mouping District Planning Office. She began to exercise "Falun Gong" in September 1996. In November of 1999, she was sentenced to three year's re-education through labor for disrupting the social order.

Looking back on what she had done, Wang says that she has felt likes dreaming a nightmare. Only when she jumped out of the strange circle of Falun Gong, did she realize the evil nature of the Falun Gong clearly, as well as the true face of Li Hongzhi, the ringleader of the cult.

Wang Bo recently exposed the snare that Li Hongzhi designs for the Falun Gong practitioners, laid bare with her own personal experience Li's cruel nature and the heresy essence of the Falun Gong as a cult.

She says: "I do not believe in ghosts, but I like to imagine. I fear death and I am always eager to get what I like. So, I easily became infatuated with the Falun Gong. I mistakenly believed that the only goal of a person's life is to return to the paradise world." She continues: "To do so, I must abandon fame, profit and feelings. In order to achieve my 'perfection', I spent all my spare time practicing and exchanging experience with other die-hard Falun Gong followers, despite my husband's opposition, child's hooky and my relatives and friends' estrangement with me. I worked perfunctorily and became increasingly infatuated with Falun Gong¡­"

She said: "Li Hongzhi processed and modified his own photos, hinted us to burn incense for him, made us worship him and deify him. Each practitioner followed what he said without the slightest doubt. Isn't it the heresy's nature that makes this kind of worship to the ringleader of a cult?"

She noted: "We should say that a lot of people begin to practice Falun Gong with a simple idea to get rid of illness and keep fit, or become 'good persons.' Under the signboard of 'sincerity, kindness and forbearance,' Li Hongzhi takes advantage of our desire to achieve 'perfection'. In order to achieve his purpose of ideological control, Li made us believe his false reasoning and heresy at first, then asked us to read the 'Transfer Wheel of the Law' many times to "purify" ourselves. As I spent all my time on learning Falun Gong, I seldom read books and newspaper, or watched TV over the past several years. Consequently, nothing but Falun Gong was on my mind. After the cult was banned, driven by the thought of 'defending Falun Gong' to achieve my 'perfection', I disrupted the social order many times. His heresy made me slip farther and farther on the wrong track."

Li Hongzhi said repeatedly that he did not "participate in political affairs", but he instigated his followers to disrupt the social order and oppose state laws to achieve his ulterior political purpose.

She said, "In self-reflection, I objectively analyzed what I had done previously. I have come to realize my mistake from the depth of my soul. I really experienced a period of painful abandonment. What is heartening is that at last I have rid myself of the nightmare, with the painstaking help of the government and people from all walks of life." (JINAN, July 28, Xinhunet)
