Overseas
Chinese residing in Germany and representatives of Chinese
students studying there yesterday expressed their strong indignation
over the evil nature of the Falun Gong cult and voiced their
support for the correct decision of the Chinese government
to ban and strike it.
At
a forum held here, a participant said that the incident in
which some Falun Gong practitioners set themselves on fire
on Tian'anmen Square is an act with ulterior political motives
committed by Li Hongzhi, the ringleader of the cult, and international
anti-China forces.
The
overseas Chinese in Germany denounced this evil cult and expressed
their resolute support to the Chinese government in waging
tit-for-tat struggle against the Falun Gong cult.
Why
is it, some participants asked, that some countries accused
the Chinese government of banning and striking this anti-human,
anti-society and anti-science Falun Gong Cult? Because they
do not want to see China moving toward prosperity.
The
Falun Gong cult has become a tool of anti-China forces in
interfering in China's internal affairs, Li Qichang told the
forum.
China
now enjoys the situation of stability and unity, as well as
a good economic development trend, Sun Menghai, said, "so
we must not let Li Hongzhi and his followers disrupt this
good situation."
The
participants also expressed their great regret over the fact
that among the Falun Gong Practitioners making suicidal attempts
by setting themselves on fire on Tian'anmen Square, two were
juveniles.
They
shared the view that young people should improve their ability
to make a clear distinction between the right and the wrong,
that they should be taught to be responsible for their own
behaviors and that they should become people useful to society.
China
is moving toward the period of material prosperity, they noted,
adding that as long as a healthy cultural life prevails in
society, everyone will denounce the Falun Gong cult.
