Empty Shouting Cannot Expunge
Crime

Before
UN Secretary-General Koffi Annan visited China, some "Falun
Gong" supporters sent an "open letter" to
him on November 8, 1999, demanding that he pay attention
to the situation of "Falun Gong" practitioners
during his visit to China, hoping that the UN would help
to protect their ``human rights and freedom of belief."
This again proves that "Falun Gong" has not yet
been completely eliminated, and the diehard followers of
"Falun Gong" are clearly exposing their wild ambition
to talk sheer nonsense and cheat innocent people.
The
letter reads: "There are 100 million 'Falun Dafa' practitioners
in China. Through practicing 'Falun Gong,' they can not
only keep their health, but above all they can come to realize
the meaning of life and learn the principle of being upright
persons. So, they try to be good persons as regards society
and as regards their work and families. This is perfectly
obvious." In fact, there are only two million "Falun
Gong" practitioners in China, and they are playing
a game of bluff. In fact, many "Falun Gong" practitioners
have abandoned their families, and since 1992 more than
1,400 practitioners have died as a result of practicing
"Falun Gong." In addition, countless others have
suffered physical damage for the same reason.
The
letter states, "The practitioners have not got involved,
nor will they get involved in politics, not to mention anti-science,
anti-government, anti-society and anti-mankind activities."
If what they say is true, we have to ask the following questions:
1. Why does Li Hongzhi declare that he does not accept modern
science, denying the accumulated achievements of science
and civilization accumulated over several thousand years?
By saying that only "Falun Dafa" can know the
universe and change the world, isn't Li Hongzhi being anti-science?
2. Li Hongzhi amasses illegal funds, incites his followers
to steal information, and in the name of "protecting
the fa (law)" utilizes his tightly-knit organization
to harass and besiege media and Party and government organs.
Isn't this being anti-government? 3. Li Hongzhi openly says
that Chinese society is in a state of "utter disorder"
and is ``beset by evils." He has also said, "All
these evils will break free and harm the law and the world."
He claims to possess supernatural power, to be the only
supreme "wise and understanding" person, and to
dominate the universe. Isn't this being anti-social? 4.
Li Hongzhi defames mankind by describing the Earth as the
rubbish heap of the universe and mankind as rubbish. He
claims that human society is near the point of extinction,
the Earth will explode soon and the human race will be destroyed.
Isn't this being anti-mankind?
The
cloud of lies cannot cover the sun of truth. Empty shouting
cannot expunge crime!
