The "Falun" Websites Dare
Not Give True Information

Earlier
on, Li Hongzhi and his followers were very proud of themselves.
Their websites gave numerous items of information, such
as ``Li Hongzhi Day or Li Hongzhi Week is to be celebrated.''
The contents of such information were all advantageous to
``Falun Gong,'' even if they were full of loopholes or extolled
themselves to the skies. However, none of the websites has
reported that ``Li Hongzhi Day'' was abolished in several
American cities a few weeks ago.
China
and the United States have reached an agreement on China's
accession to the WTO, which has been favorably received
by most countries. The Chinese government decided to send
a delegation to the WTO Conference in Seattle in the United
States. It was a happy event for all Chinese. However, taking
this opportunity to attack the Chinese government, Li Hongzhi
and the ``Falun Gong'' organization petitioned the 160-odd
high officials from various countries during the conference,
obstructing its proceedings. They also held meetings and
activities to promote ``Falun Gong'' before the conference
started, and tricked the mayor of Seattle into signing and
issuing the decision to observe ``Li Hongzhi Week.'' The
``Falun'' websites played this up, believing that they had
the game in their hands. However, when the mayor cancelled
``Li Hongzhi Week'' after learning the truth about ``Falun
Gong,'' they fell silent.
I
tried in vain to find this news on several Chinese and English
``Falun'' websites, such as ``Falun News,'' ``Falun Dafa,''
``Minghui,'' ``Jianzheng,'' ``Yuanming'' and ``Buhuo Information
Network.'' They were playing the trick of ``reporting only
what is good while concealing what is unpleasant.'' So,
how can their information be trusted?
