Cult's vicious attempt exposed
A
recent mass sit-in by members of the Falun Gong cult at
Tian'anmen Square further stripped the Falun Gong cult's
claim that it is a merely a fitness exercise rather than
an organization with a pyramid structure, a fact it will
not admit.
Some
Falun Gong adherents' unequivocalness in their unwarranted
criticism of the Chinese Government's "crackdown" on their
"legal" belief exposed their claim that Falun Gong is apolitical
and "merely strives to cultivate 'truthfulness, compassion
and tolerance' in daily life," something the group said
in one of its statement.
Tracy
Zhao's tears at a hearing sponsored by the International
Relations Committee of the US House of Representatives on
human rights and religious freedom in China on March 2 might
have momentarily delayed some people from learning the details
about the cult, but that will not be the case much longer.
The
sympathy the Falun Gong group tried to garner outside of
China is a sign that the cult has turned out to be a lever
foreign forces have used to try and discredit China.
IThe
mass sit-in calculated to fuel chaos at Tian'anmen Square
again forced people to consider whether this "fitness" organization
follows its three tenets - truthfulness, compassion and
tolerance.
It
seems that whenever Falun Gong is greeted by criticism,
the cult tries to entice its followers into creating a disturbance.
People still have a fresh memory of the group surrounding
media organizations' office buildings in 1998 and Zhongnanhai
in Beijing, the compound of the Party and the central government,
last year.
The cult's attempts to censor the media and unnerve the
government have gone beyond the limits of law and reason.
The Chinese Government has every reason to ban this cult
which has caused numerous deaths.
