The Real Face of Li Hongzhi
By
Xiao Yan
Li
Hongzhi claims to be superior to Sakyamuni Buddha, Lao Zi
and Jesus, and to be the only savior on the earth, with
the power to dominate the cosmos. The cult founder, who
boasts about being capable of delivering people with incurable
illnesses to a "Beautiful World," has been forced
to reveal his true features. Li has escaped to the United
States, and is as scared as a stray cur.
He has fabricated heretical fallacies to cheat innocent
people. As shocking facts are revealed one after the other,
people see through Li Hongzhi. Master Li, God in some people's
eyes, is a swindler!
He got into a fight with his neighbors just over a piece
of land. Does he have any "truthfulness, benevolence
or tolerance"? He revised the date of his birthday,
claiming to be the reincarnation of Sakyamuni Buddha. He
fabricated the heretical theory of "Zhuan Falun,"
which is full of superstition. In this theory, he says that
human fate is destined by Heaven, and only through practicing
``Falun Gong" can one change his fate. Actually, he
wants to control other people. He preaches "truthfulness,
benevolence and tolerance" to mislead innocent people.
He incites practitioners to ignore the law, and to harass
and besiege news agencies and even the seat of the Chinese
government.
Li's fraud has been exposed. More and more Chinese have
seen through his true face. Li assumes that he can continue
to disseminate his heretical theory abroad, but his dream
has also been sheltered by people overseas.
He uses money swindled from "Falun Gong" practitioners
to buy luxurious houses, green cards, and automobiles, enjoying
the life of a playboy. He seeks reputation through deception.
Li incited his followers abroad to gain titles like "honorary
citizen" and stage "Falun Gong Week" through
fraud in Baltimore, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Seattle
in the US, but those honors were cancelled in the long run.
Neither swindlers nor cults can cheat people forever. More
people abroad have seen clearly the true faces of Li Hongzhi
and his "Falun Gong." Li has lost his false reputation
and become a standing joke.
