Incident's truth now comes
out
THE
People's Daily, China's leading newspaper, carried a commentary
on Friday, titled "The Truth Has Come Out," along
with a full examination of Falun Gong leader Li Hongzhi's
role in the April 25 illegal gathering at Zhongnanhai, in
a further expose of the outlawed cult.
Evidence
shows the illegal gathering was a well-prepared and well-organized
major political incident aimed at exerting pressure on the
Communist Party of China and the central government, and
disrupting the country's stable political situation, the
commentator says.
From
this incident, people can gain a further glimpse of the
true face of Li and the cult's ulterior political motives.
His sophistry and denials will be to no avail, it says.
Li
has said he knew nothing about the gathering, but there
is evidence that he was its mastermind, organizer and director,
the commentary points out.
Li
has also said that he is not interested in politics. But
the fact is that he often agitated practitioners to put
pressure on the government and the media.
His
fallacies reveal the cult's true nature as being anti-science,
anti-human, anti-society, and anti-government, the commentator
says. It concludes continuous efforts are needed to carry
the struggle against the illegal Falun Gong cult through
to the end.
