Insiders: Falun Gong against
government
WITH
the official ban of Falun Gong on July 22, sect officials
have discarded Falun Gong and come to recognize the true
nature and motives of this illegal organization.
Duan
Rongxin, former head of the Falun Gong general training
centre in Shijiazhuang, capital of North China's Hebei Province,
exposed the sect as an anti-governmental organization under
the absolute control of Li Hongzhi, founder of the Falun
Gong.
''Li
has advocated truthfulness, benevolence and tolerance among
his followers. But actually he was only using these banners
to disguise his ulterior political motives," said Duan,
who has broken away from the Falun Gong sect and discarded
the Falun Gong practice since the government ban on the
sect.
Duan,
a 39-year-old official with a real estate company, was appointed
by Li in 1994 as the head of the general training centre
in Shijiazhuang and was responsible for operating four subordinate
centres in the province.
Duan
said the seemingly loosely controlled Falun Gong sect is
actually a highly organized sect under absolute control
of the supreme leader Li, who sends his orders through the
Research Society of Falun Dafa to the general training centres,
thereby to subordinate branches.
"Any
Falun Gong official who did not follow Li's orders was immediately
dismissed and widely condemned inside the organization,"
Duan said.
Li
had incited his followers to the opposite side of the government
in a step-by-step manner, Duan said. He also said Li took
advantage of his followers' wishes to achieve success by
practising Falun Gong and instigated anti-governmental sentiments
by fabricating rumours.
