Ma Jianmin, a worker at the North China Oilfield, began to practice "Falun Gong" in March 1996. Soon after that he claimed that he had a "wheel of the law" turning in his stomach. On September 4, 1998, Ma cut open his abdomen with a pair of scissors to look for it. Then he died of excessive loss of blood.

Li Hongzhi said: "The 'wheel of the law' is the miniature of the universe. The 'wheel of the law' I installed in a practitioner's abdomen rotates non-stop round the clock every day. It automatically helps the practitioner in his or her practice. It is of a higher level than your life." "You can not get the law bodies through practicing 'Falun Gong' yourself. It is only I who can give you the law bodies."
