Wang Yuying, a bank clerk, started to practice "Falun Gong" in 1997. To meet Li Hongzhi's requirement that practitioners of "Falun Gong" have to learn its law, she studied Li Hongzhi's heretical books hard. Then changes began to come over her mentality. She used to have a cheerful disposition. Since practicing "Falun Gong" she became eccentric and often talked to herself. In early February 1998, she bought some pesticide. In the afternoon of February 22, she hanged herself on a hillside not far from her home. She left a note, "Someone in another planet asked me to buy the 'Rogor' pesticide and kill myself by taking it."

Li Hongzhi said, "The development of today's society is controlled and promoted by extraterrestrial beings. They mingle with the people and attach themselves to human bodies to replace people's soul. People would then become the slave of computers and machines, and be finally replaced by those beings."
