I read an article on the Internet recently, titled "Naked Truth," dished out by the "Falun Gong" organization and written by Hu Qingyun, an instructor at the Jiangxi Instruction Center. In the article he paints the best possible picture of himself and "Falun Gong", describing himself as a "good person," and saying that "Falun Gong" has cured his leukemia. The truth is somewhat different.

1. A Born Liar

If we are to be honest, Hu Qingyun is less of a "good person" than a born liar. Every word he said is untrue.

Anyone who reads the article will find many loopholes. For instance, Hu Qingyun says, "I worked in a legal department for 16 years." In fact, he graduated from school in 1984, and in 1993 he went through the procedures for stopping payment of salary but retaining office and became a businessman. How did his 10 years working in the legal department become 16 years? As for his disease, he was cured with medicines and medical treatment. He insists on saying that it was a wonder due to practicing "Falun Gong." However, his medical records reveal the progress of his medical treatment in detail: The gradual disappearance of his symptoms after each of his periods spent in hospital, and the normalization of his blood picture and test results. The improvement in his health after treatment cannot be attributed to "Falun Gong." What is most ridiculous is that when Hu Qingyun was supposed to be practicing "Falun Gong," he was in hospital, taking medicine, and receiving injections and blood transfusions. However, in the article Hu Qingyun says, "After practicing 'Falun Gong,' I had no need to take medicines, or have injections." His medical records reveal that he has taken several kinds of high-grade and expensive medicines, such as "gamma globulin." Once he fell unconscious. He would have died if he had not been taken to hospital in time. This has nothing to do with "Falun Gong," as his medical records and neighbors can prove.

Unfortunately, we cannot lay all the blame on him for these lies. Telling lies is the nature of "Falun Gong." Hu Qingyun, who is addicted to it, can not help telling lies, and the "Falun Gong" website has spared no effort in recommending this article full of lies.

2. A Heartless Man

An old saying goes: "A good turn done to you should be returned with ten thousand." However, Hu Qingyun, who calls himself a "good man," returns good with evil. He is indeed a heartless person.

To cure his leukemia, Hu Qingyun was hospitalized six times, received transfusions of a great deal of blood, and took many medicines, which snatched him back from the jaws of death. However, he, who has forgotten how he was saved by the hospital, attacks the medical sciences and medicine, while always praising "Falun Dafa." In "Naked Truth," he writes such nonsense as: "Medicines and medicial sciences are useless to me," "medicial sciences and experts can not save my life," and "practicing 'Falun Dafa' has saved me and greatly improved my health." He pays back kindness with enmity.

Let's see how much money has been spent to cure his disease. In the article, Hu Qingyun avoids mentioning this. In fact, the medical fees for his six hospitalizations exceeded 300,000 yuan. Out of humanitarianism, his unit paid all of this, despite the fact that he was no longer working there and that he had once been subjected to disciplinary sanctions for seducing a girl.

Though he was saved by medical science and medicine six times, and the government paid a great deal of money in medical fees for him, Hu Qingyun attacks medical sciences and the government rather than be grateful to them. He is indeed a person lost to all sense of gratitude.

3. A Lecher

"Good man" Hu Qingyun is fond of women.

It is ridiculous for this shameless man to call himself a "kind man" in the article "Naked Truth." This article was even published in the World Daily. Diehard practitioners of "Falun Gong" are completely oblivious of ethics and morality. The "good" image of this "kind" man is constructed on other people's disgrace and suffering, by treading on other people's dignity.

It is understood that, in September 1993, without a trace of "truthfulness, benevolence and tolerance," Hu Qingyun raped a 19-year-old girl.

A girl by the name of Li was working at a restaurant, having failed to pass the college entrance examination. One day, Hu Qingyun went to the restaurant to have dinner. After he had eaten and drunk his fill, he learned that the girl was eager to study at a college, so he started to cheat her, promising to "help her enter a college." After that, Hu Qingyun often came to see the girl, and one afternoon, he seduced her. Encouraged by her family members, the girl reported the case to the local public security department, and Hu was held in custody according to law.

Is Hu Qingyun a "good man"?

4. A Man Hankering After Money

Hu Qingyun is a person who forgets the difference between right and wrong at the sight of profit. He will try every means he can to get money.

Does he truly believe that "Falun Gong" cured his disease? Hu Qingyun understands full well that it was the hospital which saved his life. His aim is to get profits by telling lies about "Falun Gong."

Hu Qingyun knows that "Falun Gong" is a huge treasure bowl. The books and audio-visual products on "Falun Gong" can generate extremely high profits at low costs. This is money for nothing. Hu Qingyun "taught" others, saying, "Buy this book. Buy that tape. They will help you go up to a higher level and obtain more power." He also founded the Nanchang Qingyun Audio-Visual Products Company, and told people that his disease was cured by reading these books. According to statistics, Hu reaped 90,000 yuan in one go by wholesaling "Falun Gong" books, magazines and audio-visual products.

5. An Evil Man

An old saying goes: "When a bird is dying, its chirping will be sad; and when a person is dying, his words will be kind." This is true of people with normal human feelings, but not of those who are guilty of countless crimes and deserve judgment.

Hu Qingyun is just such an evil person.

Why did he not tell the truth in "Naked Truth"? Why does he enjoy telling lies? Why does he sing the praises of "Falun Gong" regardless of the fact that his life was saved by the government and sciences? Why is he so interested in being a "representative" to have a dialogue with the government? Why did he try every way to contact "Falun Gong" practitioners and gather the remaining forces of the cult to make trouble in Beijing after the government issued a decree banning the "Falun Gong" cult? Hu Qingyun's actions explain everything.

"Naked Truth" is not true at all. Hu Qingyun and his "Falun Gong" organization try to hide facts with lies. They are like the thief in the story who buried his stolen treasure, and then put up a sign saying: "Stolen Money Not Buried Here."
