Fanatical Cult Followers

By Xiao Yan

Li Hongzhi, who is now lurking in the US, repeatedly declares that his "Falun Gong" followers are "pacifists" and never do anything illegal. What on earth are these "Falun Gong" followers -- "pacifists" or fanatics? It is easy to judge. When we look at the activities of "Falun Gong" in the past few years and what these die-hard followers did after "Falun Gong" was banned, we can easily see that they are dyed-in-the-wool cult fanatics mentally controlled by Li Hongzhi.

Although Li Hongzhi and his Zhuan Falun repeatedly propagate "truthfulness, benevolence and tolerance," a lot of facts tell us that Li Hongzhi himself is not truthful, benevolent or tolerant at all. Li Hongzhi, who always talks about "saving people from all predicaments," never cares about the lives of "Falun Gong" practitioners. For instance, after the illegal "April 25 Incident" (of besieging Zhongnanhai, the seat of the Central Government), Li Hongzhi was dissatisfied that there was no blood shed. For this alone, we can say that Li Hongzhi is a violent fanatic.

Another example: Many "Falun Gong" followers who were mentally controlled by Li Hongzhi, at the instigation of Li Hongzhi and staff of the "Falun Dafa Research Society," often harassed the media, government institutions and people who differed with them. When the true colors of "Falun Gong" as a cult was exposed, the hoodwinked "Falun Gong" practitioners recognized the sinister intentions of the cult, harmful to society, and they severed their relations with the "Falun Gong" organization and stopped practicing "Falun Gong." But, Li Hongzhi and some diehard "Falun Gong" followers don't want to see the Chinese people shake off their mental fetters and live in a healthy situation of stability and unity, and they will not take their defeat lying down. So, they collude with anti-China forces abroad. They arrange illegal demonstrations and sit-ins, at the same time complaining to the world falsely that the Chinese Government is persecuting people for peaceful religious activities.

Li Hongzhi and a group of diehard "Falun Gong" followers who are in exile abroad are out-and-out cult fanatics. Decking themselves out in various disguises, they wormed their way into China and created trouble there. Whenever important international meetings were held or Chinese leaders traveled abroad, they would start wriggling in making trouble, hold various demonstrations outside meeting places, and became involved in anti-China activities by waving a flag of peace. They also tried to get honors from US mayors, but failed in the end and became laughing stocks.

But, no matter how crazy these cult followers are, or how contemptible the means they use, nothing can change the confidence and determination of the Chinese Government and people to crack down on cults, and the cult "Falun Gong" will never have a foothold in the territory of China again.
