Unchangeable
Fraudulence
There
is an old saying, "Rivers and mountains may be changed, but
it's hard to alter a man's nature." This is true of the obstinate
and unrepentant. It is also quite suitable for the "Falun
Gong" organization and its stubborn followers except that
the word "nature" here should be preceded by the attributive
"fraudulent."
"Falun
Gong," which built up its fortune by rumor-mongering-continues
to spread rumors in order to drag out its existence. The "Falun
Gong" organization and its stubborn followers always try to
fabricate rumors, concoct something out of nothing or exaggerate
something out of proportions. In short, they intend to stir
up trouble by making inflammatory statements and confusing
truth and falsehood.
The
"Minghui" and "Buhuo" websites, the special-topic websites
of "Falun Gong," have been acting disgracefully. Not long
ago, they invented fictional preparations by a bureau chief
in Yunnan Province for the rehabilitation of "Falun Gong,"
and invented a story of one Jiang, who they claimed died of
persecution, but actually committed suicide by jumping from
a building owing to a mental disorder resulting from the practice
of "Falun Gong."
The
"Wei incident," about which a hullabaloo has been made on
the Internet recently, is also far from truth. Before her
hospitalization, Wei, who had been behaving eccentrically,
declared herself to have become "a Buddha or an immortal."
She prevented members of her family from sending her badly
sick mother to hospital, insisting that her mother was removing
the "ye (evil) force." As a result, the woman died, or as
Wei put it, "went to heaven." Later, Wei's husband and her
unit sent her to hospital. Once she had recovered, Wei was
able to have normal contact with others. As the saying goes,
"Natural sympathy is common to all persons." Wei, after her
recovery, regretted her mother's death caused by her absurdity.
The
reality is simple and it is clear at a glance what is right
and what is wrong. But somehow this incident provoked much
discussion and terror on the Internet, as if the tragic ends
of all infatuated "Falun Gong" practitioners were manipulated
by the government.
Then
who is to blame for the lamentable and pitiful ends of those
"Falun Gong" practitioners? Anyone with just a little rational
judgement can find that the blame should be laid not on the
government but on "Falun Gong" itself. The practice of "Falun
Gong" has resulted in dysphrenia, irrational behavior, foolish
talk and diseases, all of which have nothing to do with the
government.
The
slander spread by "Minghui" and "Buhuo" shows their evil intentions.
In the final analysis, it is because they cannot justify themselves
that they cannot help but resort to lies. How low they have
stooped!
