Who Says That Practicing
"Falun Gong"
Doesn't Disturb Others?
By

Some
people, believing that Li Hongzhi and his ``Falun Gong"
followers simply wish to be left alone to practice their
beliefs, wonder why the Chinese Government has gone to all
that trouble to ban the cult.
Such
people are completely deluded. The cult practitioners do
often exercise alone or in private, but they often hold
collective activities too, upon instructions from the leadership,
with Li Hongzhi at the head. If any practitioner holds a
different opinion from the "Falun Gong" orthodoxy,
other followers, under Li's orders, will jointly attack
or threaten him or her, organize illegal sit-in and demonstration
sessions, and harass and besiege government organs disturbing
their normal functions. Can anyone then still insist that
"Falun Gong" doesn't disturb other people's normal
lives? Obviously, mesmerized by Li Hongzhi, the cult believers
are well organized. In this organization prompt action will
be taken against any remarks not authorized by Li. This
not only infringes upon human rights, but undermines public
order.
Li
preaches that he can place a ``wheel of law" in practitioners'
bodies, which can cure diseases and improve their health.
Nevertheless, Li's "Falun" ("wheel of law")
has caused the deaths of more than 1,400 people, as well
as making many others mentally deranged.
Moreover,
cult founder Li deceives the common people by preaching
"truthfulness, benevolence and tolerance." But
he also claims that those who do not have the utmost faith
in him will perish in the "doomsday" that is coming
for the world. Li set up his overwhelming authority by taking
advantage of people's fears and psychological weaknesses
in the present reshaping era in China. He binds his followers
to a dependence on the group, so that they lose the power
of independent will and thought, so that he can achieve
the goal of turning individuals into willing tools that
he can make use of. This finally led to the illegal demonstration
on April 25. "Falun Gong" believers have become
tools used by Li Hongzhi to exert pressure on the Chinese
Government.
In
conclusion, "Falun Gong" is a cult harming both
society and ordinary people. Who can still insist that "Falun
Gong" doesn't disturb or hurt people? This cult must
be banned and destroyed!
